Miles, Sears & Eanni hosted a fundraiser for the Fresno State Mock Trial Team on January 12, 2017. Local attorneys and members of the mock trial team gathered at the firm to meet the team and raise money for their upcoming tournaments. The event raised $1,525 for the intercollegiate team which first began at Fresno State in 2005. The team is now the largest in the nation with members traveling across the country to compete in various tournaments.
MSE Attorney Lyndsie Russell competed on the Fresno State Mock Trial team during her time at Fresno State and now volunteers weekly as an assistant coach. The Fresno State Mock Trial team allows students to develop many important professional skills such as teamwork, oral advocacy, public speaking and analytic ability, while interacting with positive role models in their community.
