Miles, Sears & Eanni attorney Richard Watters reached a $1 million settlement for the auto accident victims in the personal injury case of Deaver v. A&D Silage Bros; et al. The Deavers were seriously injured when an employee of A & D Bros Silage Covering ran a stop sign and struck their vehicle at approximately 45 miles per hour.
Mr. Deaver, the driver, suffered a neck injury resulting in chronic pain and headaches. His injury was further complicated by a pre-existing medical condition that made traditional treatment options like nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) ineffective. His daughter suffered soft tissue injuries, pain, and contusions as a result of the crash.
Following the accident, Mr. Deaver was unable to return to work operating his family’s free range poultry farm.
The parties reached a $1 million settlement on February 15, 2017.
